Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines' premier carrier, is significantly enhancing its Clark International Airport hub with a substantial 38% capacity increase for the first half of 2026. This strategic expansion will provide more flights and seats, enabling the airline to better serve passengers from northern and central Luzon while solidifying Clark's status as a key gateway to both domestic and international destinations.
New Flight Additions and Network Growth
Beginning March 29, CEB will introduce additional flights from Clark to popular tourist spots including Coron, El Nido, and Naga. This move follows the complete transfer of turboprop operations from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Clark. Furthermore, on May 2, the airline will launch direct flights between Clark and Hanoi, Vietnam, marking Clark's newest international destination with a schedule of three times weekly.
This expansion elevates CEB's network from Clark to an impressive 17 destinations, comprising 12 domestic and five international routes. This gives CEB the most extensive network among all carriers operating at the Clark hub, significantly boosting connectivity for travelers.
Capacity and Flight Statistics
The capacity boost will raise CEB's Clark hub seat availability to 1.2 million seats in the first half of 2026, up from approximately 900,000 seats during the same period last year. Concurrently, the airline will operate over 9,100 flights, a remarkable 72% increase from around 5,300 flights previously. This growth underscores CEB's commitment to expanding its presence and service offerings from Clark.

Strategic Insights and Promotional Offers
Candice Iyog, CEB's Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, emphasized the strategic importance of this expansion. "The transfer of turboprop operations from Manila to Clark presents a major opportunity to grow the hub. Passenger traffic to destinations like El Nido, Siargao, and Coron alone could reach 255,000 travelers, representing a 372% increase from current levels. This momentum positions Clark as a leading gateway to the world's best island destinations, particularly for foreign travelers seeking quick access to the Philippines' top tourist spots," she stated.
To stimulate travel demand, CEB has launched a seat sale valid until February 28, 2026. Passengers can book flights to select domestic destinations for as low as PHP 99 one-way base fare, excluding fees and surcharges, for travel until July 31, 2026. This promotional effort aims to make travel more accessible and encourage exploration of the expanded network.
Broader Operational Context
Cebu Pacific currently operates across 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spanning Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. This Clark hub expansion is part of the airline's broader strategy to enhance its market presence and improve connectivity, catering to the growing demand for air travel in the region while supporting tourism and economic development through increased accessibility.
