More youth and Indigenous Peoples (IP) in Angeles City are set to benefit from expanded educational assistance and community support programs. This follows the launch of the “Bawat Bayan Makikinabang” Program by President Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr. at Clark Freeport on May 14, 2026.
Program Launch
Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II and other Angeles City officials joined the national government initiative’s rollout. The program aims to strengthen support for education, livelihood, and social welfare for communities nationwide.
Focus on Education and Marginalized Sectors
The initiative prioritizes providing greater opportunities for students needing financial assistance to continue their education through scholarships and educational support. Aeta communities in Pampanga are also among the beneficiaries.
City officials stated that the initiative reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to improving access to education and delivering programs that support marginalized and underserved communities.
