The Supreme Court of the Philippines has officially released the results of the 2025 Bar Examinations, revealing that nearly half of the candidates successfully passed the rigorous test.

Passing Rate and Key Announcement

In an announcement made on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the High Court disclosed that 48.89 percent of the examinees passed. This translates to 5,594 successful candidates out of the total who took the exams. The Court, through 2025 Bar Chairperson Associate Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier, also confirmed that it has approved a 75 percent passing grade for all takers.

Oathtaking Ceremony Details

The successful examinees will formally take their oath as new members of the Philippine Bar in a grand ceremony next month. The oathtaking and signing of the roll of attorneys is scheduled for February 6, 2026.
