The Miss Gay Pampanga 2026 local costume competition took place on June 19 at SM City Pampanga, with candidates presenting costumes inspired by their towns' products, tourist attractions, and traditions.
Top 5 Best Local Costumes
The top five winners represented Mabalacat City, City of San Fernando, Sasmuan, Floridablanca, and Sta. Rita. They received sashes and cash prizes from President Princess Shun Nakamura, Board Member Kaye Naguit, Barangay Dolores Chairman Allan Patio, and founder Edsel Miranda.
Purpose of the Competition
Nakamura stated that the event aimed to highlight Pampanga's culture and traditions through fashion and performance, and to provide a platform for the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month. “Since Pride Month tayo ngayong June, ito ang best time para ipakita ang creativity at galing ng mga gay, lalo na at alam natin na kilala tayo dyan, at siyempre ang ganda ng Pampanga,” he said.
Grand Coronation Night
The grand coronation night is scheduled for June 27 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center.
