Ritz Azul Shares Two Miscarriages Before Baby Zie

Actress Ritz Azul revealed that before giving birth to Baby Zie, she experienced two miscarriages.

In a social media post, Ritz shared, "Year 2024 we had a miscarriage. Early stage of pregnancy. Mid 2025, ectopic. It melted on its own, no need for surgery. Late 2025, we tested positive again and here she is."

Ritz admitted that during her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS) after experiencing contractions and bleeding. Because of this, she underwent lymphocyte immunotherapy (LIT) from conception until delivery.

LIT is described as a "specialized and experimental treatment that involves injecting processed white blood cells from a partner or donor to help the immune system better accept a pregnancy."

Ritz explained that she only spoke about it now out of fear that her pregnancy might not continue. "We have so much to thank God for. One of them is that even with a high-risk pregnancy, I still had a normal delivery, with His help and mercy."

Ritz and Allan Guy got married in November 2021 in Baguio City, followed by another ceremony in Palawan the next month.
