Fire Destroys Two Vehicles, Damages Store in Floridablanca

A fire broke out in Barangay Bodega, Floridablanca town on Thursday, May 14, destroying two vehicles and partially damaging a convenience store. The incident occurred at around 10:46 a.m., according to Senior Fire Officer 1 Paolo Pingul of the Bureau of Fire Protection–Floridablanca.

Initial investigation revealed that one of the vehicles began emitting smoke, and the fire quickly spread to an adjacent vehicle and the nearby store. Firefighters received the report from police authorities at approximately 10:57 a.m. and immediately responded to the area.

Pingul noted that the fire scene was near the boundary of Bataan, which caused a slight delay in response. The team arrived at the scene at 11:04 a.m. and managed to declare a fire out within 10 minutes, at around 11:14 a.m.

Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities are currently working to establish the cause of the fire and assess the total damage costs.
