Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Lubao Mayor Esmeralda Pineda have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting children with special needs during a visit to the Pampanga Children’s Center for Special Needs, located at the Lubao Municipal Complex.
Officials Join Forces for Inclusive Care
The two local leaders were joined by Board Members Fritzie David Dizon and Claire Lim during the event. Governor Pineda took the opportunity to meet with parents, checking on the condition of their children and discussing additional assistance and services that could be provided.
Center as a One-Stop Hub
Mayor Pineda highlighted that the center serves as a comprehensive one-stop hub, offering a range of services including evaluation, therapy, educational readiness, and family support. These services cater to children diagnosed with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD, and other conditions.
The mayor encouraged residents who are seeking slots at the province’s Autism Center to coordinate with their respective Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) for proper registration and referral to the facility. This initiative aims to streamline access to specialized care and ensure that children with special needs receive the support they require.
