Mayor Confirms Cause, Cites Continuous Rains
Naga City Mayor Val Chiong confirmed the details on the same day, attributing the landslide directly to the persistent heavy rains brought by a recent typhoon. In response to the emergency, personnel from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), the Naga City Police Station, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) were swiftly deployed to the area.
