Superintendent Leo Pioquinto, Zamboanga City Fire District marshal, reported that the fire broke out around 10:59 a.m. at Angeles Drive in Talon-Talon village. The blaze engulfed a warehouse owned by businessman Tomas Lim, which stored plastic wares, aerosol products, and house wares.

Casualties and Damage

One warehouse worker sustained injuries during the incident, though officials have not disclosed his identity. The fire reached a second alarm before firefighters managed to bring it under control at approximately 12:51 p.m. The fire was declared fully extinguished at 9:39 p.m. the same day.
