Coca-Cola's 30+ PH Sites Sparkle with Recycled 'Bituin ng Pag-asa' Christmas Lights
Coca-Cola PH Sites Light Up with Recycled Christmas Decor

In a vibrant display of festive spirit and environmental consciousness, Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP) has once again illuminated its facilities across the nation. Over 30 sites from Luzon to Mindanao now shine brightly with the theme "Bituin ng Pag-asa: Guiding Light for a Brighter Future." This annual tradition, which turned the company's locations into local holiday attractions, celebrates the hope and resilience of Filipino communities.

Handcrafted Hope from Recycled Materials

The heart of this year's celebration lies in its sustainable approach. Associates at each CCEAP site, including the General Santos Distribution Center, personally conceptualized and created the installations. They meticulously handcrafted ornaments using recycled and upcycled materials, transforming everyday waste into symbols of joy. From parols to classic Christmas figures, each piece reflects the Filipino ingenuity of creating meaningful celebrations through shared effort and simple joys.

Notable displays can be found in Naga, Santa Rosa, Calasiao, Iloilo, Misamis Oriental, and Davao. The Santa Rosa site's light-up complements its famous landmark of giant Coca-Cola cans, solidifying its status as a must-visit holiday destination. Similarly, the Misamis Oriental Plant glows with vibrant decor crafted from repurposed materials.

A Tribute to Dedication and Community Resilience

This glittering tradition serves a dual purpose. First, it honors the nearly 9,000 associates whose daily dedication ensures Coca-Cola products reach homes and refresh communities nationwide. Gareth McGeown, President and CEO of CCEAP, emphasized this, stating, "We are deeply grateful for the dedication and support of our people and the communities we serve."

Second, the light-up celebrates the perseverance of Filipino communities through a challenging year marked by natural disasters. CCEAP reinforced its commitment by mobilizing relief efforts, ensuring the safety of its people, and delivering essential supplies like safe drinking water to affected areas. "Even in the most difficult times, hope shines brightest when people come together," McGeown added.

113 Years of Being Part of Filipino Festivities

Adding to the nationwide cheer, the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck continues its journey across the country, spreading magic wherever it goes. This effort is part of CCEAP's 113-year legacy of being woven into the fabric of Filipino culture. As a company with 18 manufacturing sites and nearly 70 distribution offices, CCEAP emphasizes its local roots—proudly producing beverages made by Filipinos, for Filipinos.

The annual light-up is more than just a corporate decoration; it's a beacon. It aims to spark shared moments among families and friends who visit the sites, guiding everyone toward a brighter, more promising tomorrow. By choosing sustainable materials and celebrating collective hope, Coca-Cola's Christmas lights truly embody the resilient and joyful spirit of a Filipino Christmas.
