The state weather bureau is monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) within Philippine territory. It was spotted 910 kilometers east of Northeastern Mindanao. Meanwhile, the easterlies continue to affect the country, bringing hot weather and occasional rains.

Tropical Depression Outside PAR

A tropical depression is currently outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). It was located 2,560 kilometers east of Northeastern Mindanao. The system has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. It is moving slowly in a north-northwestward direction.

Public Advisory

Although the tropical depression has no direct effect on the country yet, the public is advised to stay alert for future advisories from experts, especially if it enters PAR and causes changes in weather conditions.
