The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Central Visayas, through the Cebu Provincial Capitol, announced the cancellation of sea trips in seven ports as of 9:00 am on Thursday, July 9, 2026, due to adverse weather conditions brought by the approaching Bagyong Inday.

- Liloan - Poro
- Tudela - Ormoc
- Pilar - Ormoc
- Oslob - Dapitan
- Toledo - San Carlos
Weather Update
According to the 4:00 am update from Pagasa Mactan, Super Typhoon Inday weakened into a typhoon as it continues moving west-northwest. Signal No. 1 was raised in 12 areas. The center of the eye of Bagyong Inday was estimated at 925 kilometers east of Northern Luzon, with maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 215 km/h, and central pressure of 940 hPa. The typhoon's wind extent reaches up to 870 km from the center.
