Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in China for a visit aimed at deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations, spanning from Scandinavia to Southeast Asia. Putin, a regular visitor to China, has been invited multiple times by Chinese President Xi Jinping. His last visit was in September of the previous year, where he was the guest of honor at a large-scale military parade hosted by Xi. This visit comes one week after US President Donald Trump's trip to China.
