Victim and Circumstances Identified

The victim has been identified as Cliff Richard Dabon Trazo, a 40-year-old resident of Purok Tugas, Magsaysay, Barangay Tabunok, Tabuelan, and an employee at the DIY Tuburan Branch. According to reports from the Tabuelan Municipal Police Station and witness accounts, Trazo was riding his motorcycle toward his workplace in Tuburan, accompanied by a passenger, Kevin Balazuela, aged 35.

Simultaneously, another motorcycle, driven by Vincent Gequilan, a 29-year-old from Sityo Ilaya, Barangay Putat, Tuburan, was heading toward Poblacion, Tabuelan. The collision occurred when Trazo reportedly attempted to overtake another vehicle at the blind curve, failing to notice the oncoming motorcycle driven by Gequilan.

Severe Impact and Fatal Outcome

The impact of the crash was so forceful that both drivers, along with Trazo's passenger, were thrown from their vehicles. Emergency responders swiftly transported the victims to the hospital, but Trazo was declared dead on arrival at Tuburan District Hospital.

Dr. Mohammad Khaiser Sanaani confirmed that Trazo sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury due to severe head trauma, which directly caused his death. This tragic event underscores the critical importance of road safety, especially in areas with poor visibility like blind curves.
