The City Health Office (CHO) of San Fernando, Pampanga has initiated a comprehensive investigation into a suspected mass food poisoning incident that occurred at Maimpis Integrated High School on Thursday, March 5. The incident affected numerous students who had participated in a school feeding program earlier that day.

According to official reports from health authorities, a total of 381 students from Grades 7 to 10 participated in the school feeding program. Following the meal service, multiple students began experiencing concerning symptoms including vomiting, nausea, general weakness, and persistent headaches. The rapid onset of these symptoms across such a large student population immediately raised alarm among school officials and medical personnel.
Emergency Medical Response and Treatment
Initial medical records indicate that 119 students required referral to GreenCity Medical Center for professional medical consultation and treatment. Among these cases, two students were initially transported to the Ricardo P. Rodriguez District Hospital before being included in the broader medical response.
