Pampanga's Alagang Nanay Health Mission Serves Over 1,000 Residents

More than one thousand residents from the municipalities of Macabebe and Masantol in Pampanga province received comprehensive free medical services during the recent Alagang Nanay Preventive Health Care Mission. This significant community outreach initiative was organized and executed by the provincial government of Pampanga, demonstrating a robust commitment to public health accessibility.

Governor Pineda Leads the Initiative

The healthcare mission was personally spearheaded by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, who actively participated by checking on the condition of the beneficiaries and ensuring that each individual received the necessary medical attention. Governor Pineda's hands-on approach underscored the provincial government's dedication to preventive healthcare and community welfare.

During the event, residents had the opportunity to consult with licensed physicians at no cost. Among the medical professionals providing free consultations was 4th District Board Member Kaye Naguit, who also serves as a doctor. This dual role highlighted the collaborative effort between elected officials and healthcare providers to serve the Kapampangan community.

Comprehensive Medical Support

In addition to the free medical consultations, all beneficiaries received free medicines supplied directly from the Capitol. This holistic approach ensured that residents not only received diagnoses and advice but also the necessary pharmaceuticals to address their health concerns effectively.

The municipal governments of both Macabebe and Masantol played a crucial supporting role in the mission. Mayor Danilo Guintu and Vice Mayor Liezle Guintu of Masantol actively participated, facilitating local coordination and resource allocation to maximize the mission's impact.

Community Appreciation and Future Commitment

Lavaliza Pamandan, a resident of Macabebe, expressed profound gratitude for the initiative, stating in the vernacular: “Life is difficult, so we truly appreciate and salute programs like these free health initiatives of Nanay.” This sentiment reflects the significant positive impact of such healthcare missions on communities facing economic challenges.

The provincial government emphasized its ongoing commitment to strengthening programs aimed at preventing illnesses, protecting the health of every Kapampangan, and bringing medical services closer to communities. This mission represents a tangible implementation of that commitment, with plans for continued expansion of similar healthcare accessibility initiatives throughout Pampanga.
