Two lucky individuals from the provinces of Batangas and Bulacan are set to become millionaires after splitting the multi-million peso jackpot in the latest Lotto 6/42 draw.
Winning Numbers and Prize Details
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced that the draw held on Saturday night, January 10, 2026, produced the winning combination: 20-08-10-01-04-24. This combination carried a total jackpot prize of PHP5,940,000. The two winning tickets were purchased in Barangay San Jose Patag in Sta. Maria, Bulacan, and in Barangay Pobalcion in San Juan, Batangas.
How to Claim and Tax Implications
According to the PCSO advisory issued on Sunday, the winners have one year from the date of the draw to claim their life-changing prize, as mandated by Republic Act 1169, the law governing PCSO lotteries. All jackpot prizes must be claimed in person at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City.
Potential winners should also be aware of the tax implications. Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law, lottery winnings exceeding PHP10,000 are subject to a 20 percent final tax, which will be deducted from the prize money before it is released to the winners.
Other Winners and Regular Draw Schedule
While two bettors hit the jackpot, hundreds of thousands of others also won smaller prizes in the same draw. A total of 120 bettors won PHP24,000 each for correctly guessing five of the six winning numbers. Furthermore, 3,439 players won PHP800 each for matching four digits, and a staggering 37,412 individuals will take home PHP20 each for getting three numbers right.
The 6/42 Lotto is drawn three times a week, offering regular chances to win. Draws are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Playing for a Cause: Supporting National Charities
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles took the opportunity to remind the public that participating in these games supports vital national programs. He encouraged continued support for the agency's gaming products, which generate additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and various national charities.
Through its mandatory contributions, the PCSO plays a crucial dual role: it provides direct medical assistance to individuals in need and channels funds to government institutions for broader social services. Every ticket purchase contributes to this charitable ecosystem.
