John Velez Celebrates Birthday & Team Anniversary with Outreach
JVPRG Team's 6th Anniversary Outreach Brings Joy

Photographer and founder of the JVPRG running team, John Velez, experienced a peaceful, enjoyable, and gratitude-filled Sunday on November 16, 2025, during his special celebration. He marked not one, but two significant occasions: his belated birthday and his group's sixth anniversary through a heartfelt outreach program.

A Celebration of Gratitude and Service

Although his actual birthday was on November 11, Velez chose to move the celebration to a later date to allow more friends and team members to join. Fueled by energy and a spirit of cooperation, they began their annual tradition of providing food and assistance to children in need.

Spreading Joy in Barangay Pardo

The JVPRG team visited the Quiot Bible Church in Barangay Pardo, where they distributed meals, toys, and loot bags. The initiative brought enormous smiles and visible joy to the children, who eagerly participated in the various activities prepared for them.

Michelle Ceniza, one of the church administrators, expressed profound gratitude to the group for their arrival and concern for the community. She noted that their presence brought extra happiness to the children and strengthened the spirit of fellowship within the church.

A Heartfelt Response and Lasting Mission

As a gesture of thanks, the children prepared and presented a song for the team. This simple yet precious performance was their way of showing appreciation for the event's organizers.

For Velez, the day was far from an ordinary celebration. It symbolized his thankfulness for divine grace and served as an opportunity to share his blessings with others. The JVPRG team remains steadfast in its core mission: their running pursuits are not just for personal health but also for community service and giving back to the society they are a part of.
