Two Suspected Drug Pushers Arrested in Balamban Operations

Two suspected drug pushers were arrested in successive anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Balamban Police on Monday, July 6, 2026.

First Operation in Barangay Higatmonan

Under the leadership of Police Major Ian Macatangay, chief of the Balamban Police Station, the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) first raided Barangay Higatmonan at 2:41 a.m. The operation resulted in the arrest of John Vincent Cortez Sadora, 38, single, who was on the police list as a Street Level Individual.

Confiscated from Sadora were 2.36 grams of shabu, with an estimated value of PHP 16,048. In addition to the illegal drugs, police also seized a fake .22 caliber revolver containing six live bullets.

Second Operation in Barangay Sinsing

The police did not stop there and immediately followed up with another buy-bust operation at 11:12 a.m. in Barangay Sinsing. Arrested at the scene was Jay-R Pulgo Dumdum, 41, single, a resident of the barangay. Seized from Dumdum were 3.54 grams of shabu, with an estimated value of PHP 20,400.

Detention and Charges

Both suspects are currently detained at the Balamban Police Station while appropriate charges are being prepared against them.
