In a significant law enforcement achievement, Police Regional Office Region 3 (PRO-3) has announced the arrest of 814 wanted individuals and the confiscation of an estimated P24.2 million worth of illegal drugs through coordinated operations across Central Luzon.

Intensified Manhunt Leads to Hundreds of Arrests

According to official reports from PRO-3, intensified manhunt operations conducted by various units and stations resulted in the apprehension of 814 suspects who were on the wanted list. Among these arrests, 124 individuals were classified as most wanted, with 79 of them ranking in the top 10 at regional, provincial, and municipal levels. This targeted approach demonstrates the police force's commitment to prioritizing high-profile cases and ensuring that fugitives are brought to justice.

Massive Drug Busts Across the Region

In parallel with the manhunt efforts, regional police carried out 659 anti-drug operations, leading to the arrest of 943 suspects. Notably, 22 of these individuals were identified as high-value targets, highlighting the strategic focus on dismantling major drug networks. The operations yielded substantial seizures, including 3,499.4 grams of shabu valued at P23,796,489, 1,229.2 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P147,503, 144.8 grams of kush estimated at P217,341, and ecstasy with a value of P74,346. The total confiscated drugs amount to P24,236,481, dealing a significant blow to illegal drug activities in the area.

Brigadier General Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones, Jr., director of PRO-3, attributed these accomplishments to focused operations, robust intelligence support, and the unwavering dedication of police officers.
