This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency and strengthen public safety services for the Bangsamoro community.

Ceremony Marks Vehicle Turnover at Camp General Salipada Pendatun

Police Brigadier General Jaysen De Guzman, the director of PRO-BAR, led the Blessing and Turnover Ceremony on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The event took place at Camp General Salipada Pendatun in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte, symbolizing a commitment to enhancing police mobility and readiness.

The ceremony was attended by the Command Group, Regional Staff, and personnel from various offices, underscoring the collaborative effort to support law enforcement operations. This gathering highlighted PRO-BAR's ongoing dedication to improving resources and infrastructure for better community service.

Recipient Police Stations and Strategic Impact

The three light transport vehicles were allocated to specific police stations to address mobility needs in diverse areas:

  • Lamitan City Police Office in Basilan
  • Sultan Mastura Municipal Police Station in Maguindanao del Norte
  • Ampatuan Municipal Police Station in Maguindanao del Sur

According to Police Brigadier General Jaysen De Guzman, these vehicles will play a crucial role in enhancing police effectiveness. "The turnover of the Light Transport Vehicles will greatly benefit the police stations that will utilize them, as it enhances mobility, ensures faster response to incidents, and strengthens patrol visibility in their respective areas," he stated in an official release.

De Guzman further emphasized that "with improved transportation capability, personnel can perform their duties more efficiently, respond promptly to community concerns, and deliver better police services to the people they serve." This distribution is expected to lead to quicker emergency responses and increased police presence, thereby fostering a safer environment for residents.

Financial Investment and Operational Benefits

Each vehicle is valued at approximately P1.6 million, reflecting a substantial investment in law enforcement infrastructure. This allocation of resources demonstrates PRO-BAR's proactive approach to addressing logistical challenges and supporting frontline officers in their daily duties.

The new vehicles are set to improve patrol operations, facilitate faster deployment to crime scenes, and enhance overall police visibility across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region. By strengthening mobility, PRO-BAR aims to boost operational readiness and ensure that police services are more accessible and responsive to community needs.
