This impressive number highlights the active participation of citizens in the democratic process, with the registration period set to continue until May 18, 2026, in most areas.

Innovative Registration Programs

In addition to traditional registration methods, Comelec's Register Anywhere/Anytime Program has also seen notable activity, with 8,432 applicants taking advantage of this flexible option. This initiative aims to make voter registration more accessible, particularly for those with mobility or scheduling constraints.

Important Note: The voter registration period is currently ongoing nationwide, except in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), where different timelines may apply. Comelec has set an ambitious target of enlisting up to four million individuals by the registration deadline, reflecting the agency's commitment to maximizing voter participation.

As the November 2026 elections approach, these registration numbers underscore the importance of local governance and youth representation in the Philippines. Citizens are encouraged to complete their registration before the cutoff to ensure their voices are heard in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls.
