Police Brigadier General Arnold Ardiente, the regional police director, confirmed the capture of the fugitive, identified only by the alias Rody, who is 29 years old.

The arrest took place on Monday, March 16, 2026, in Big Margus village, located within the municipality of Glan in Sarangani. According to General Ardiente, the operation was conducted through the implementation of a warrant of arrest, showcasing the police's coordinated efforts in manhunt activities.

Rody was listed as the number eight most wanted person in the entire Soccsksargen region, highlighting the significance of this apprehension in the fight against crime.
