Angeles City Honors 3 Centenarians with Cash Gift

The local government of Angeles City has honored three senior citizens who have reached the remarkable age of 100.

Honoring a Century of Life

Through the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II led a special event to recognize Rosita F. Marquez, Felipa N. Mendoza, and Rosa L. Tiatco. These three centenarians were celebrated for their valuable contributions to society and their long lives filled with experience, wisdom, and inspiration.

Under the Expanded Centenarians Act (Republic Act No. 11982), each of the honorees receives a one-time cash gift of ₱100,000 and a Letter of Felicitation from the President of the Republic of the Philippines. This law applies to all Filipino citizens who reach the age of 100.
