Barangay Chairman Gunned Down in Pampanga
The Pampanga Police Provincial Office has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a barangay chairman in Masantol town on Tuesday night, November 25, 2025. The victim, Jinkie V. Quiambao, who served as village chief of Barangay Balibago, was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen in Barangay Alauli.
Police Response and Investigation
In an official statement, the Pampanga PPO expressed their outrage over the violent incident that claimed the life of what they described as "a respected and hardworking leader whose service left a meaningful mark on his community." The police extended their deepest sympathies to Quiambao's family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Colonel Eugene Marcelo, director of the Pampanga PPO, has taken immediate action by directing the Masantol Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of Major Jimmy Malonso, to investigate the case and fast-track the identification and arrest of the suspects.

The Provincial Forensic Unit has completed processing the crime scene, and all collected evidence is now undergoing thorough and accelerated examination to help resolve the case quickly. Police officials confirmed they are coordinating with adjacent police stations and law enforcement units to ensure a "unified, efficient, and continuous" pursuit of the suspects.
Colonel Marcelo urged the public to remain calm but vigilant, emphasizing that public cooperation is vital to solving the case.
