The incident occurred around 3:00 in the afternoon on November 28 in Barangay Apas, Cebu City. The suspect, known by the alias Kaloy, reportedly attacked his 19-year-old cousin, identified as Kakay, following a heated argument about money.
According to initial police investigations, the confrontation began when Kaloy asked his cousin for P20 to buy food. When Kakay refused to give him the money, the situation quickly escalated into violence.
