Naga City Motorcycle Crash Injures Driver, 3 Vehicles

A serious traffic accident involving three vehicles sent one motorcycle driver to the hospital in Naga City on Tuesday afternoon, according to local authorities.

Three-Vehicle Collision Details

The incident occurred at approximately 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 in Barangay Lutac, Naga City. The collision involved two motorcycles and one pickup truck, resulting in significant damage to all vehicles and injuries to one driver.

Joven Largo, a 54-year-old married man from Barangay Cantabaco, Toledo City, was operating his Honda XRM motorcycle when the accident occurred. He sustained injuries serious enough to require immediate transportation to Naga City Hospital for medical treatment.

Investigation Reveals Cause

According to the official investigation conducted by the Naga Police, the chain of events began with Benjomar Larida, a 22-year-old single man from Purok Proper 1, Barangay Cogon, Naga City.

Police reports indicate that Larida was traveling from Toledo City toward Naga City on his Suzuki Raider 150 motorcycle when he lost control. Investigators stated that Larida was driving at high speed while navigating a downhill section of the road and encroached into the opposite lane.

This lane violation caused Larida to collide head-on with Joven Largo's motorcycle. The impact was severe enough to throw Largo from his vehicle. In a subsequent chain reaction, Largo's unattended motorcycle then struck an oncoming Mitsubishi Strada GL 2.5 pickup truck.

The three vehicles involved in the cascade collision were:

  • Suzuki Raider 150 motorcycle driven by Benjomar Larida

Mark Lloyd Cabrillos, 38, from Estaca Barangay Tunghaan, Minglanilla, was operating the pickup truck that ultimately collided with Largo's damaged motorcycle. Cabrillos was not reported to have sustained injuries in the incident.
