Pampanga Honors Barangay Officials, Drivers in Year-End Event

The Provincial Government of Pampanga, under the leadership of Governor Lilia "Nanay" Pineda, has formally presented its key achievements for 2025, highlighting a major gathering that recognized the vital contributions of local leaders and transport sector workers.

Capitol's Year-End Assessment with Community Leaders

This presentation was a central part of the Year-End Assessment held with members of the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) from various barangays across the Third District of Pampanga. The event served as a platform to review the year's progress and outline the collaborative efforts between the provincial government and grassroots units.

Large-Scale Reorientation and Recognition Event

A significant highlight was the assembly of approximately 3,376 barangay officials and TODA/Foton drivers from the province's first and third districts. The gathering was designed for a reorientation on their official duties and responsibilities, reinforcing their role in local governance and public service.

Provincial officials expressed their gratitude to the groups for their dedicated service to the Kapampangan community. The attendees were personally greeted and given assistance by a delegation that included Governor Lilia Pineda, Board Members Lucky Labung, Christian Halili, and Cherry Manalo, along with Vice Governor's Chief of Staff Angie Blanco and PSWDO Officer Fe Manarang.

Governor Pineda's Message of Gratitude

In her address, Governor Pineda emphasized the indispensable role of barangay officials in the province's development. She stated that these local leaders have greatly contributed to Pampanga's peace and progress, serving as the frontline in implementing programs and maintaining order in their communities.

As a token of appreciation and support, each participant received financial assistance and food packs directly from the Capitol. This gesture underscored the provincial government's commitment to backing those who work closely with the people on a daily basis.

The event, held on December 17, 2025, successfully capped off the year's activities, strengthening the partnership between the Capitol and local stakeholders as they look forward to continued collaboration in the coming year.
