The Provincial Government of Pampanga, along with several other local government units in the province, achieved remarkable recognition during the recent PhilHealth Regional Office III Stakeholders' Appreciation Day. It received the Outstanding Employer award, recognizing its precision in PhilHealth reporting and updating procedures. Additionally, the provincial government was honored with the Award of Distinction for its effective implementation of various PhilHealth programs that benefit local communities.
Michelle Lopez, the Assistant Provincial HRMO who also serves as the Provincial PhilHealth focal person, accepted these prestigious awards on behalf of Governor Lilia "Nanay" Pineda. Information Office and Municipal Recognition
The Pampanga Provincial Information Office (PIO) demonstrated its vital role in healthcare advocacy by receiving the Yakap Champion Award. Meanwhile, the city government of Mabalacat, under the leadership of Mayor Geld Aquino, received the Exemplary Performing LGU award for its outstanding overall performance. The San Simon LGU was named Exemplary Employer for its excellent reporting and remittance practices, with Acting Mayor Anne Canlas accepting the award on behalf of the municipality.
