To ensure effective execution, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) 7, Land Transportation Office, Philippine Coast Guard, and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will collaboratively monitor the program's implementation. This oversight will utilize both global positioning system (GPS) technology and manual tracking methods to maintain accountability and transparency.
GPS Integration for Efficient Payouts
Secretary Lopez emphasized the importance of GPS units for streamlined operations, revealing that the DOTr is coordinating with GPS providers to offer these devices at a reduced monthly rate of P500 for PUV operators.
