The Eastern Police District (EPD) has assured strict monitoring of the entire 'White Ribbon March' scheduled on Sunday, June 28, 2026. According to EPD Acting Director Police Brigadier General Melecio Buslig Jr., the police unit aims to ensure the rally remains safe, orderly, and peaceful.

Deployment of Police Forces

The EPD has already deployed police officers around the EDSA Shrine to maintain order and security for participants. This includes police serving as a Reactionary Standby Support Force from Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, and San Juan City Police Stations for immediate deployment if necessary.

Anti-Criminality Operations

Concurrently, stricter anti-criminality operations will be conducted in the Eastern Manila area, focusing on transport terminals, major roads, commercial establishments, and other strategic locations before, during, and after the activity. General Buslig Jr. stated that police will maintain maximum tolerance throughout and respect everyone's right to express their views.
