The suspect, identified by the alias "Didot," is a 23-year-old resident of Sityo Seaside Fatima in the same barangay. Acting on credible intelligence, the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) of the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) collaborated with the Naga City Police Station to execute the operation.
From Didot's possession, officers confiscated significant evidence: approximately 15 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P102,000. Additionally, they recovered a .45 caliber pistol along with a magazine containing three live rounds of ammunition.
Background and Investigation Findings
According to police reports, the PIU received information indicating the suspect's escalating involvement in illegal drug activities. After conducting thorough intelligence monitoring and verifying the details, authorities promptly launched the buy-bust, leading to his capture.
A background investigation revealed that Didot is considered a prominent drug personality in the city, allegedly capable of distributing up to 30 grams of shabu per week. Further inquiries uncovered that the source of his drug supply originates from within the Cebu City Jail.
