A 55-year-old father has been taken into custody after being accused of molesting and assaulting his 12-year-old daughter within their family home on the evening of Monday, March 9, 2026. Swift Police Response Leads to Arrest
The Naga City Police Station identified the suspect, known under the alias Chris, who was promptly apprehended following a report from a concerned citizen regarding the alleged abuse in one of the city's barangays. According to the investigation, the suspect arrived at their residence at approximately 7:20 PM, visibly under the influence of alcohol and in a state of anger directed at his children.
In a fit of rage, he reportedly grabbed a dustpan and struck the victim on the backside. After this initial assault, he ordered his children to go to sleep in their room, but he later followed the victim into the space. Moments later, the child reported feeling her chest being groped, her neck kissed, and her hands tightly restrained.
Threats and Psychological Impact
The suspect allegedly threatened to kill the victim if she disclosed his actions, adding to the trauma of the ordeal. Authorities from the Naga City Police quickly responded upon receiving the call and found the suspect, who was positively identified by the victim at the scene.
