The operation took place in Barangay Ardemil, Sara, Iloilo, on February 20, 2026, at approximately 12:02 p.m., marking a critical development in the region's anti-drug campaign.

Police arrested the suspect, known by the alias Rexon, who serves as an SK chairman and resides in Sara. The operation was conducted by the Sara Municipal Police Station in coordination with the 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company, following an extensive five-month intelligence monitoring period. Authorities recovered 22 medium-sized sachets containing 300 grams of shabu, valued at P2,040,000, along with 10 grams of marijuana worth P1,000. Additional items seized included buy-bust money and non-drug paraphernalia.
