Missing Widow's Vehicle Discovered in Magalang Town Plaza
The car belonging to Tess Mamac, a resident of Balibago in Angeles City who was reported missing on February 12, 2025, was recovered by authorities in Magalang town on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2026. Tess is the widow of the late Balibago Chairman Rodelio "Tony" Mamac Sr., who passed away on August 14, 2025.
Family Driver Missing and Named Person of Interest
Rodelio "RM" Mamac Jr., the son of Tess, earlier shared on social media that his mother's vehicle was last seen between 8:45 and 8:49 p.m. on February 12, exiting Barangay Balibago and heading toward Mabalacat City. The victim's car, a 2019 Toyota Innova V with plate number CAQ 2482, was reportedly abandoned at the town plaza by an unidentified man on Saturday night.
The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) has confirmed these details regarding the missing person case. RM also reported that the family's longtime driver, Emmanuel Celeste Tolentino, also known as Manuel Tolentino, is missing. According to the family, Tolentino was last seen at the Mamac residence at 7:32 p.m., shortly before Tess arrived home around 7:35 p.m.
Tolentino served as the family's driver for over 20 years. The family believes he was driving Tess' vehicle when it departed for Mabalacat City approximately an hour after her arrival. Police have stated that Tolentino is currently considered a person of interest in the case, and RM noted that all attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
Reward Offered and Investigation Ongoing
Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. is offering a reward of ₱200,000 to anyone who can provide information about Mamac's whereabouts. The Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) have yet to release the results of their inspection of the recovered vehicle. As of press time, Tess Mamac remains missing, and the investigation continues.
