New Regional Director Appointed for LTO 7 in Central Visayas
The Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO 7) has welcomed a new regional director as part of a broader leadership reshuffle affecting key officials across the nation. This change is detailed in Office Order No. 2026-089, dated March 6, 2026, and signed by Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez.
Appointment of Wendel Dinglasan
Wendel Dinglasan has been officially appointed as the regional director for LTO Region VII, which includes the provinces of Cebu and Bohol. He takes over from Francisco Ranches Jr., who previously served as the Officer-In-Charge for LTO 7. Ranches has now been reassigned to a new role as the acting regional director for the Mimaropa region.
Additional Leadership Transfers
In a related move, Arturo Apolinar, the assistant regional director for LTO 7, has also been transferred to a similar position within the Mimaropa region. This series of appointments highlights a strategic reorganization aimed at optimizing leadership structures within the Land Transportation Office nationwide.
The reshuffle underscores the government's ongoing efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and service delivery in transportation management. Stakeholders in Central Visayas are expected to monitor how these changes impact local operations and regulatory enforcement in the coming months.
