Pampanga Police Nab 11, Seize P427K in Drugs in Major Anti-Narcotics Sweep
In a significant crackdown on illegal narcotics, the Pampanga Police Provincial Office has announced the arrest of 11 individuals and the confiscation of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of P427,040. This operation, conducted on Thursday, March 12, 2026, represents a coordinated effort across multiple jurisdictions to combat drug-related activities in the province.
Detailed Breakdown of Operations and Arrests
Colonel Eugene Marcelo, director of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office, provided a detailed account of the synchronized anti-drug initiatives. Operatives from the City of San Fernando police arrested one man and seized 25 grams of shabu, valued at P170,000. In a separate operation within the same city, two more persons were apprehended, with three grams of illegal drugs worth approximately P20,400 confiscated.
Simultaneously, the Mabalacat City police arrested three individuals and confiscated 20 grams of shabu, with an estimated value of P136,000. The Sto. Tomas police operatives arrested one person found in possession of 10.30 grams of shabu, valued at P70,040.
Further operations saw the Bacolor Municipal Police Station arrest one suspect and seize 3.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P23,800. The Arayat police also made an arrest, confiscating one gram of suspected shabu valued at P6,800.
Additional Arrests for Other Crimes
In related law enforcement actions, authorities from the Magalang and Sta. Rita police stations arrested two wanted persons. One was apprehended for frustrated homicide, while the other was taken into custody for theft, demonstrating the police's broader commitment to public safety beyond drug-related offenses.
