In a significant blow to the local drug trade, Pampanga police operatives successfully apprehended three suspected drug personalities during a carefully planned buy-bust operation in San Fernando City.
The operation, conducted by elements of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), unfolded in Barangay Dolores on Tuesday evening, resulting in the capture of individuals identified as John Paul Manalili, 28; John Carlo Manalili, 26; and Mark Joseph Manalili, 22.
Authorities reported confiscating approximately 1.5 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP 10,200. The illegal substance was carefully packaged in several heat-sealed plastic sachets, indicating possible distribution activities in the community.
"This successful operation demonstrates our relentless commitment to eradicating the drug menace in our communities," stated a police official involved in the operation. "We will continue to pursue all individuals involved in this illegal trade."
The suspects are currently facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. They are presently detained at the San Fernando City Police Station while awaiting the formal filing of cases against them.
This latest accomplishment forms part of the Philippine National Police's intensified campaign against illegal drugs across Central Luzon. Local authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious drug-related activities in their neighborhoods.
