The fatal crash occurred on February 13, when a police mobile patrol vehicle plunged off a cliff in Don Victoriano. The accident resulted in the immediate deaths of four police officers and one civilian. According to authorities, the vehicle had been deployed to provide security for event organizers at the time of the incident. It was carrying seven personnel from the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and three civilian employees from the Provincial Tourism Office.
