Taguig Police Apprehend Four Suspects in Series of Robberies and Shooting Incident
The Taguig City Police Office has successfully arrested four suspects in distinct operations connected to a string of convenience store robberies and a separate shooting event in Barangay New Lower Bicutan within the city. This coordinated effort underscores the police's commitment to maintaining public safety and cracking down on criminal activities in the area.
Arrests Made in Convenience Store Hold-Up Cases
Two suspects, identified by the aliases "Axel Ray" and "Bogie," were captured following an investigation into a hold-up at a convenience store located on M.L. Quezon Street in Barangay Wawa on March 10. According to police reports, the perpetrators pointed a gun at the cashier during the robbery, making off with approximately ₱11,000 in cash and several chocolate items before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.
In a subsequent follow-up operation conducted in San Pedro, Laguna, authorities apprehended these individuals and seized a 9mm pistol, along with a magazine and multiple rounds of ammunition. Further investigations revealed that the suspects were also involved in additional convenience store robberies across Taguig, highlighting a pattern of criminal behavior.
Moreover, two more suspects, known by the aliases "Jeff" and "Emong," have been identified as accomplices in these robberies, though details on their specific roles are still under review as the police continue to gather evidence.
Additional Arrests in Shooting Incident
In a related development, two other suspects, referred to as "Bogz" and "Hendrich," were arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on Pio Felipe Street in Barangay New Lower Bicutan on March 13. During their apprehension, law enforcement officers confiscated a .45 caliber pistol, a magazine, and several bullets from the individuals.
This incident adds to the gravity of the criminal activities being addressed by the Taguig police, with the shooting potentially linked to broader gang-related or violent offenses in the community.

Taguig Police Chief Police Colonel Julius Añonuevo emphasized that these arrests were the result of meticulous investigation and effective coordination among police units.
