23 ALS Graduates in Pilar, Camotes Succeed

Twenty-three graduates of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in Pilar, Camotes successfully completed their studies, proving that sacrifice and hard work are key to success. The graduation ceremony was held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Pilar Central School.

Key Officials Present at the Ceremony

The event was graced by Dr. Royce D. Coloscos, former Education Program Supervisor (EPS) for ALS and now Senior Education Program Specialist, SM&N, who provided inspiration and support to the ALS completers. Also showing support were Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Abbie P. Barnes, ALS teachers in the Camotes Area, ALS Consultants, Pantawid Pamilya Personnel, and Barangay Kagawads.

Role of ALS Teacher in Guiding Students

Active ALS Teacher for Pilar District, Joanne Cordero Narboada-Layese, guided the students to achieve their dreams. The ceremony highlighted that education is not limited by age and that it is never too late for those determined to learn.
