The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has advised motorists to use alternative routes while the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) conducts road repair and reblocking works in several parts of Quezon City. The repairs began on July 3 and will continue until July 6, 2026.
Traffic impact expected
According to the MMDA, the repair activities are expected to affect traffic flow in the affected areas. Motorists are encouraged to plan their trips and take alternate routes when possible.
Affected roads
The DPWH will carry out restoration and reblocking on the following roads: E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue from the end of Ortigas Flyover northbound to the corner of Green Meadows Avenue; C-5 Road from in front of UP Town Center to the corner of C.P. Garcia Avenue; and Quezon Avenue from the corner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue to in front of the Lung Center of the Philippines.
Nighttime schedule to minimize disruption
The road works will be conducted from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM to reduce the impact on traffic flow.
