Following a disappointing double-overtime loss in Game 1, 122-115, the reigning back-to-back MVP expressed dissatisfaction with his own play. Gilgeous-Alexander emphasized the need to stay resilient and true to oneself despite setbacks.
“Sometimes, you’re your best version, sometimes you’re not. You’ve got to roll with the punches, don’t get discouraged and stay true to who you are,” Gilgeous-Alexander said.
