The National Capital Region (NCR) continues to dominate the partial and unofficial medal tally of the Palarong Pambansa 2026 as of May 27, 2026. NCR leads with 12 gold medals, 6 silver, and 10 bronze for a total of 28 medals.

CALABARZON (Region IV-A) ranks second with 9 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze medals (23 total). Western Visayas (Region VI) is third with 7 gold, 5 silver, and 7 bronze (19 total). The Negros Island Region (NIR) follows with 6 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze (12 total), while Bicol Region (Region V) has 5 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze (13 total).

Event Details

This year's Palarong Pambansa features athletes from 18 regions, including NAS and APSO. Nearly 1,500 medals are at stake across 24 regular sports, demonstration sports, para sports, and exhibition events. NCR aims to secure its 19th consecutive overall championship after its dominance in 2025 in Ilocos Norte.
