RKF-ILOILO Secures Overtime Triumph Over Tiger Ship Builders
RKF-ILOILO clinched a hard-fought 83-80 victory against the Tiger Ship Builders in a game that extended into overtime. With only 57 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, RKF found themselves trailing 75-70 after the Ship Builders hit consecutive three-pointers, seemingly sealing their fate. However, RKF demonstrated remarkable resilience.
Following a strategic timeout, Arwind Santos sank two crucial free throws to narrow the gap to 75-72. Shortly after, veteran player Emman Calo delivered a clutch three-pointer, tying the score at 75-75 and forcing the game into an extra period. In overtime, RKF maintained their momentum, with Calo and Santos making key shots to secure the win.
