RKF-ILOILO Secures Overtime Triumph Over Tiger Ship Builders
RKF-ILOILO clinched a hard-fought 83-80 victory against the Tiger Ship Builders in a game that extended into overtime. With only 57 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, RKF found themselves trailing 75-70 after the Ship Builders hit consecutive three-pointers, seemingly sealing their fate. However, RKF demonstrated remarkable resilience.
Following a strategic timeout, Arwind Santos sank two crucial free throws to narrow the gap to 75-72. Shortly after, veteran player Emman Calo delivered a clutch three-pointer, tying the score at 75-75 and forcing the game into an extra period. In overtime, RKF maintained their momentum, with Calo and Santos making key shots to secure the win.
Santos led the scoring for RKF with 19 points, while Ced Ablaza contributed 14 points before fouling out. On the opposing side, Jaybie Mantilla starred for the Tiger Ship Builders with 21 points and five rebounds, supported by Genmar Bragais and James Tempra, who each added 12 points.

Jancork Cabahug led the team with 22 points, while Steve Nash Enriquez added 14 points. Froilan Mangubat and Luigi Gabisan chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively.
