Undefeated Laspoña Headlines Bakbakan Singko sa Naga on Dec. 21
Laspoña Fights in Naga Cebu Boxing Event Dec. 21

The City of Naga in Cebu is set to host a night of professional boxing fireworks as "Bakbakan Singko sa Naga" takes center stage on December 21, 2025. The event will feature a trio of talented fighters from the renowned PMI Bohol Boxing Stable, headlined by the undefeated and rising star, Richard Laspoña.

Main Event and Supporting Fights

While the main event showcases a WBO Asia-Pacific Youth title fight between the formidable Arlando Senoc (7-0, 6 KOs) and Jeric Noynay (5-1, 1 KO), all eyes are on the supporting main event. In a crucial 10-round bout, the red-hot Richard Laspoña will face Arvin John Sampaga.

Laspoña is riding a massive wave of momentum following the biggest victory of his career. In September 2025, he scored a unanimous decision win over former world title challenger Robert Paradero. This victory cemented his status as one of the Philippines' most promising prospects. He now holds a perfect professional record of 9-0 with five knockouts.

His opponent, Arvin John Sampaga, is in a must-win situation. Sampaga has lost his last two fights and is eager to stop the slide. Interestingly, one of those losses was a unanimous decision defeat to Shane Gentallan, who is a stablemate of Laspoña at the PMI Bohol Boxing Gym, on the same September card in Bohol.

PMI Bohol Stablemates Seek Redemption

The event will also feature two other fighters from the PMI Bohol camp looking to make their mark.

Angilou Dalogdog (10-1, 4 KOs) will step into the ring against Dennis Gaviola (3-9-2, 2 KOs). Dalogdog is aiming to bounce back from his first career loss, a 10th-round stoppage against Albert Francisco last July. This fight against the unheralded Gaviola is seen as a confidence-boosting opportunity for Dalogdog to get his career back on a winning track.

Meanwhile, the promising Datu Adam continues his rapid ascent in the professional ranks. With an unblemished record of 5-0 with three knockouts, Adam has been blazing through the competition. He has won four fights in 2025 alone, defeating opponents like Jelo Bacalso, Paolo Fortun, and Rex Bautista. He will face Kier Espere (8-8-1, 2 KOs) in an eight-round contest. Espere will be looking to end a two-fight losing streak of his own.

A Night of High Stakes in Cebu

"Bakbakan Singko sa Naga" promises to be a significant event in the Philippine boxing calendar. For Richard Laspoña, it is a chance to build on his breakout year and solidify his position as a future title contender. For his stablemates Dalogdog and Adam, it is an opportunity for redemption and continued growth. Boxing fans in Cebu and beyond can expect a night of intense action and compelling storylines on December 21.
