Mark Anthony Sarino passed his stiffest test to date with flying colors, scoring a lopsided unanimous decision win over BJ Wild to claim the Visayas Professional Boxing Association (Visproba) bantamweight title. The fight headlined Big Yellow Promotions' "Bakbakan Sais" last Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Sabang Sports Complex in Danao City.

Sarino's Dominant Performance

Despite having less experience, Sarino totally dominated Wild, winning by scores of 99-90, 99-90, and 98-91. Sarino improved to 8-1 with four knockouts, while Wild fell to 12-6-1 with six knockouts.

Philippote Wins UBO Titles

In the main supporting bout, French fighter Sebastien Philippote won the Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) International and Continental Asia cruiserweight titles with a third-round knockout of Thai veteran Theodsak Sinam. Philippote moved up to 10-6 with four knockouts, while Sinam dropped to 26-23 with 22 knockouts.
