Jalen Williams faced media scrutiny after a poor performance in his return, managing only one point in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 118-91 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, May 29, 2026 (Philippine time), in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals series in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Williams, who had missed the previous three games of the series due to a left hamstring strain, was clearly not in optimal condition.
"He's obviously not 100%," said Thunder coach Mark Daigneault, who emphasized that Williams was not the sole reason for the loss, which tied the series at 3-3.
