The event culminated in a major victory for Feben Landazabal, who was crowned the Bowler of the Week after a display of remarkable composure and skill.
A Triumph Across Divisions
Landazabal's path to victory was a testament to his talent. He emerged from a highly competitive Division B, securing his spot in the finals not just by score, but through his status as a scratch bowler. This decision came after he tied with handicapper Dory Enoveso, both achieving a 701 in the four-game series. In the final showdown, Landazabal's steady hand proved unbeatable as he rolled a 180 to claim the title, narrowly defeating Danny Sabang and Sam Pani Maquiling.
Division Highlights and Standout Performers
The competition was fierce across all categories. In Division A, Danny Sabang demonstrated sheer dominance by posting an impressive four-game aggregate score of 831. This powerful performance allowed him to narrowly surpass rivals Rommel Calipay (820) and Rene Ceniza (793). Sabang carried this momentum into the finals, bowling a solid 176, but it was not enough to overcome Landazabal's winning roll.
Meanwhile, Division C witnessed Sam Maquiling rising to the top with a total score of 658. He successfully outscored Steph Maquiling (628) and Orly Enoveso (610) in a tightly contested division. Although Sam placed third in the finals with a 152, his earlier performance marked a significant personal achievement.

Adding a fresh layer of challenge to the tournament, this particular Sunday Shootout was the first in the series to be played on a 40-foot pattern.
