Puma Unveils 2026 Philippine National Football Kits with Filipino Flair
Puma Launches 2026 Philippine National Football Kits

In a landmark event for Philippine sports, Puma Philippines has officially launched the future of the country's national football identity. The grand unveiling of the 2026 Philippine Football Federation (PFF) national team kits took place on Monday, November 24, 2024, at Bridgetowne, Pasig City, setting a new standard for style and performance.

A Celebration of Filipino Culture and Sport

The launch served as a powerful send-off for the Philippine women’s futsal team (PWFT) as they gear up for their historic home debut at the Fifa Futsal Women’s World Cup in 2025. The event also introduced new kits for the men’s national team and the U23 squad, who are deep in preparation for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games in Thailand this December.

Amidst a vibrant atmosphere with cheering fans, the gathering united national team athletes, PFF officials, Puma representatives, and executives from Robinsons Land Corporation. Together, they presented jerseys that are more than just uniforms; they are a fusion of high-performance technology and deep-rooted Filipino cultural motifs.

Design and Technology: Woven for Victory

Building on Puma's previous designs, the 2026 collection draws profound inspiration from the nation's heritage. The kits intricately incorporate patterns from tribal textiles, traditional weaving, and the iconic colors of the Philippine flag.

Beyond aesthetics, the kits are engineered for peak athletic performance. They feature advanced sweat-wicking fabrics, strategic ventilation panels, and athletic tailoring to ensure players excel in the high-intensity environments of both futsal and outdoor football.

The Men’s and U23 Away Kits showcase a clean, modern white design, subtly accented with Filipino-inspired elements, built for unrestricted movement at the SEA Games. In contrast, the Men’s Home Kit and the Women’s Futsal Home Kit are rendered in a deep national blue, adorned with fine linework from traditional weaving patterns, symbolizing unity, resilience, and heritage. A standout is the PWFT Away Kit, which makes a bold statement with a vibrant pink palette as the team prepares to compete on home turf.

Illuminating a Symbol of Filipino Strength

A memorable highlight of the evening was the illumination of the towering Victor statue at Bridgetowne. The landmark was bathed in the new kit colors of blue, pink, and white, transforming it into a dynamic canvas that celebrated Filipino strength, resilience, and the country's rapidly growing presence on the international football and futsal stage.

This kit launch is a key part of Puma's long-term commitment to Philippine football, a partnership formally sealed with the PFF in May 2024. The collaboration supports all levels of the sport, from grassroots initiatives to elite international competitions. The support continues with a Second Send-Off Event scheduled for December 8, just ahead of the team's departure for the SEA Games.
